Marguerite,My concern with your answer is some of us have a social life outside of our house and it could've a negative effect on us in other aspects of our health.

I’ve waken up from a seizure in public with soaked pants before. Maybe wear some kind of pads or an extra layer of underwear.

I think that is a good question, I'm not sure if that's happened to me, I may have a few minor petty times I think that did, but not a big deal, once in a blue moon, it is either because of the condition and a comb of stuff etc, but not a prob with I've noticed and doesn't happen that often, like I said, once in a blue moon, I'm only human. I look at like this, what if was to get a upset stomach and have to throw up all of sudden, I'm going to, my answer, bathroom or no bathroom, I adapt and adjust accordingly to the situation and circumstances at hand. and carry on, I'm not ashamed, I am only human, I am not perfect. My opinion

Hi @A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , I don’t have a lot of problems with accidents after a seizure, but a couple years ago I had a seizure in my sleep & apparently had a loss of bladder & I apparently walked to my bathroom in the middle of the night during that seizure & removed my “Always Overnight” feminine pad & put it in the trash & I have no memory of it at all. The “Always Overnight” is a feminine pad made by “Always” & it’s wider in the back. There are other options obviously available but that’s what I use. I have an overactive bladder & so about 15 or 20 years ago, I had surgery where I had a battery device implant put inside my rear to help me from going as often & I can put it at different settings. I don’t usually have trouble “holding it” , it’s just the fact that I go to much & the device has helped more at night than during the day cause I still go often during the day. After a seizure I don’t usually have trouble with a loss or bladder, my body is trying to come out of that seizure mode & so I don’t recall any issues with that. Your friend in Austin, Becky
