Hi Irene , find out your medication, my Tegretol CR is a sodium channel blocker , it draws out a lot of sodium when I seize , so this is why I get so dehydrated when I’ve had a fit and it can take me up to 5 days not eating or using a toilet because i feel so dehydrated inside that all the sodium has been used to stop the seizure . I’m told not to drink too much but I can’t even talk without my lips sticking to my gums lol, it makes me look silly .🤪 but I drink up to 30 X 600ml bottles of water and it’s still not enough. I now use hydralyte tabs and electrolytes to help my body with sodium .

Yes, my sodium is low. I've had to make some changes and I will begin adding salt back into my diet. It's all a balance

Electrolyte drink is the same as water with salt,I stand to be corrected.
If your sodium is low ,drink max 1.5 liters of liquid a day and add a bit more salt to your diet, depending on your reason....
