SUDEP
Does anyone know of epilepsy medication that is linked to SUDEP. Just wondering. Many thanks!
If you are at risk of SUDEP, then your neurologist/epileptologist might have prescribed a seizure stopper medication that is on your medical record. Do you like alone? If not, then is someone who you live with a health proxy who knows how to administer this medication? Or does this person at least know that if any of the SUDEP seizures lasts 5 minutes, then he/she needs to dial 911?

Itβs related to the seizure activity at night. I have refractory (uncontrolled)epilepsy. Mostly my grandmal are at night. I wear a mouth guard and and happy to wake up in the morning. π
CiaraSH Not sure as when I had a sz when I was on DILANTIN and Mysoline around 18 I was going to commit sudep but a friend came in just in time befor pulling trigger but after that never thought of it again till my wife died from cancer as grandkids came to my mind so I stopp BUT in the last 6 months been coming to my mind alot as not fun being alone when married 42 yrs, with someone. I saw my Neurologrey 1 mont ago and I told her so she put me on a Medicine to help not want to do that and also be seeing a special dr for this so have to see if it helps even tho I have a son and grandkids but not same seeing wife everyday as doing my best
Nope. I'm pretty sure this is mainly due to uncontrolled epilepsy. Or the better answer is events due to uncontrolled epilepsy.
My 18-year-old Daughter Has Had Nocturnal, Tonic Clonic Seizures. Very Scary. Any Suggestions For Helping Her Stay Safe?
What Exactly Is Sudep?
Would A Medical Examiner Be Able To Determine If You Died Because Of SUDEP If They Knew You Had A Seizure Event?
