Ask me any questions You would like to. I have had epilepsy for over 50 years. I have the VNS now, had this one replace the older model. I don’t like eeg’s, I have had to many. They just do not seem to work for me for some reason. I have had every kind of eeg no answer ever came from one. There are definitely more advanced tests now and I have had them. So if You would like some feedback from my experiences let me know.

Welcome LaNatechia. I had my first seizure - a grand mal - seizure in 2017. It just happened. I have had other types of seizures since then. I now have focal seizures since being on a high dose of two medications since 2019. The longest I have gone with a seizure is three months. It will be longer than that if I don't have a seizure this month.

I have both simple partial seizures and complex partial seizures since 2006. One or two a week on average

I’ve had it for just over 20 years and I mainly have absence and nocturnal seizure's now. I seem to have an absence seizure about every 2 months but still unsure about the nocturnals seizures frequency.
