I never bit my tongue during a seizure. Doing so could be during a seizure. There are many tests that the Doctors need to make a real diagnosis. People have not just different kinds of Epilepsy, but some have more than one kind,

its either the lead up to a nocturnal seizure or a part of a nocturnal seizure event. Assuming your diagnosed as getting these. If your not diagnosed and it just randomly happens it can just be a reflex but yes if it keeps happening over a long period of time then this could turn in to a epilepsy diagnosis. But you have to remember that for it to be classed as epilepsy a lot of other factors then come in to question.
