I am from Connecticut, but do not know where the CA Epileptics are. However, if there are large hospitals, some of which have Neurology Departments, I would look there. Maybe you have a good GP who could advise you better. I was diagnosed at Yale New Haven Hospital when my 2nd Grade Teacher thought I was deliberately not paying attention in class. My Parents stuck up for me. I had a Temporal Lobectomy in my early 20s there. I took all known AEDs, combinations and dosages at that time without enough Control. I now am with a Neurologist and Epileptologist out of Yale New Haven Neurology.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member your like me...tried evey med shit and didn't to nothing for me. a thousand dr. what works for me is a team of drs... a couple dietitians, a couple of neuro/epilepto, and a couple aalternative meds. so you need a team.
