I recently began taking clobazam and it’s been helpful for my seizures as well as others noticing that it helps with my depression

I’m on the Fluoxetine now, along with Caplyta for my anxiety. They have worked better than anything else I’ve tried. It may take a while to take full effect, so don’t give up too soon, is what I mean. It hasn’t totally resolved my depression, but it makes it a lot better.

Currently taking medication for epilepsy, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder plus others that aren’t related. Finding a good combination involves letting your doctor know the difference, either positive or negative. Having an open relationship with your doctor (being comfortable to talk about all issues) is the most important thing in order for him to help you. If you feel that you aren’t getting enough support from your doctor, then don’t be afraid to change doctors. I recently changed my doctor and I have had more positive by the doctor to get my epilepsy under control. I have been on numerous medications, including combinations of medications, and after 40+ years my seizures have continued to break through them. I can honestly say that I have received more attention from my current doctor than I have from all of the others combined. My prayers are with you and I hope that my experiences my help you. 🙏😘👍

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , I’m currently on Fluoxetine/Prozac 20mg 1 pill a day. That’s what my Family doctor gave me for my Menopause Hot Flashes 🥵 but I continue to have them off & on. A few weeks ago she increased my dosage to 40mg, 1 pill once a day but I think it might have been making a little tired & after the increased dosage, I began having some really weird dreams & that’s a side effect of it is strange dreams & tiredness. But boy the dreams are weird. She gave me a name of another medicine, Veohaz, & it’s new & so there’s no generic & so she has me checking to see if my insurance would cover it & Medicare doesn’t & so I will look into the manufacturer’s Patient Assistance Program.
