Here's A? Hypothetically, If Your Doc Came To You With A New Med On The Market And Said Let's Try It, Would You? Or Stay With Your Meds .

I wonder about that, cause my meds were changed in 1994 or around there, but after the test and treatment and such etc, my doc has it where I am ok with how it is, It took some time to get there and such, but what do you think, I'd think I might but it would depend, a lot of stuff to consider and ask yourself I think, my current condition is more stable than it was before, and do I want to experiment with my condition and such etc and it may work out, but what if it don't, Then getting it back… read more

At this point in my journey, no. I did that so much in the beginning years, that I was actually overmedicated! It was a horrible experience for my family. My meds work at keeping my epilepsy to a tolerable level. I know everyone would much rather be free totally, but, from the severity and amount of daily occurrence in the past, I'm okay.

It would depend what the side effects are. Is it better than what I'm already taking? Will it help the type of epilepsy I have? I take Keppra and have anger issues because of it. Because of that side effect I take Citalopram. Citalopram is causing other side effects like ED.

If there's a better medication than Keppra, I would try it.

It would all depend on if I'm uncontrolled & need a change

If it aint broke don't fix it.

I got the Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery at November. Unfortunately, My Meds were rearranged and gave Me several seizures. Fractured ribs and banged on the DBS bleeding it. I finally managed My Meds and are now doing well.

I would have to be able to get information on the drug first. Does the medication conflict with the meds i am taking now? Is there an issue with taking this drug and the vitamin supplements i am taking? What are the side effects from this medication?
