Padding Around Your House And Such To Help From Being Injured With Our Conditions, I See That, But How Do You Do That With Going Outside?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I myself read different articles about this ❓ but I have not done it and was wondering what you think about it and your thoughts on it, my doc or anyone else that treated me hasn't said anything since my diagnosis about the question here I am asking about. I've read about here and online and did a little research on but what and how do you look at the ? I'm wondering about.

Worry to much about having epilepsy it could make you worse just try an lead as much a normal life as you can the more you worry about it the worse it could make you feel

Personally, I wouldn't worry that much about the padding unless your having falls or drop seizures. I would focus more on working out what the auras and triggers are then go from there.

If I get into an apartment that had concrete floors because some places do then I would have to get padding or my daughter would tell me you're not going to live there lol

You can't let it control your life. Try to lead as normal of a life as possible. I've friends who aren't epileptic that have consistently run into more things than anyone I know.

Each person has different types,
It depends on the severity of the conditions. If you're immobile an have to be in a bed or wheelchair padding is recommended. I don't think everyone is in the condition to have to do that so it's a choice for the person who is responsible for that person
