I Was Looking Online About Naps, It Says. We Do As We Get Older, What Do You Think?

I myself have dif opinion of this? I'm some time taking naps during the day like I did for 1 hr, but is a med adding to it or what? And then sometimes I'll be a little wound up in the evening and tired but can't sleep, I do get to bed eventually after 15 or 30 min and doze off, but does not happen much but does. It could be a couple of things to this, how do you look in this?

When we come to but no idea where we are or how can attribute it to a blackout seizure not meds. If occurs say in a store find self in an aisle away from cart I know small seizure was reason. Just glad its over shrug it off find my cart then continue shopping. If first sides from meds persist Dr will take us off them. People should worry less bout meds than seizure control too.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , During the early to mid years of 2000 teens , I was on a few different Medications
( at different times ) . During those times . So I’m not sure which one I was on. . But often when I would wake up and head to the living room, I would normally turn the TV on . There were times , where I would find myself sleeping on the couch. A few times my wife also caught me sleeping. She was even upset , and wondering why I was sleeping out in the livingroom when I could be resting in bed if I was tired.

I couldn’t figure it out at the time, so I didn’t know what to say.

Randy your answer surprises me bout the meds. Any that causes this I'd tell Dr to get switched to another. Just think with so many to choose from bound to find a better one.

Sometimes we ( people with epilepsy ) may not have any choice, than nap or sleep sometimes. There are medications with the side effect of making us tired of want to nap.

Then there are the many of us with severe or multiple seizures ( Cluster Seizures )
That will knock us out to the next day.
