And today she’s had nonstop seizures. We are on the fifth week of eight has anyone else experienced this when they switch medication’s or these medication’s?

Please be very careful with the Zonizamide because it will take her most profound sleep. She will begin to have her seizures at night. This change will not happen. At first, she usually has them, but then there will be bags under her eyes. They have now studied us and found we lost this deep sleep. When I came off it it took over a year to catch up on all the dreams I had lost the deep sleep had not been happening for all the years I had been on the medicine.

@MargerBest advice comes from the people who have the condition. A licensed neurologist at the Cleveland clinic who have the most patients with epilepsy in the U.S. told me I wouldn't graduate HS due to the severity, I proved them wrong I'll have my degree in 2 yrs. The surgery they recommended backfired too. Nobody knows your body & its needs better than yourself. Every individual case is different even if the type of epilepsy/seizure diagnosis is the same. All cases are different. I've worked in multiple medical fields and at multiple post-secondary Schools and more plus experience as a patient
