It’s not uncommon to have meds increased or added in order to reduce the amount or severity of the seizure. I am currently on more than one medication and we have never been able to control my seizures consistently without occasional break through seizures which happens about once a month and don’t generally have auras prior to the seizure. Well, when You have to get a refill, it will be taken electronically to the Doctor because it’s a controlled substance. I take Lacosamide (generic Vimpat) is a controlled substance. As long as it’s taken for a medication and not abuse, Your beautiful Daughter will be fine.
