I know a few laws: a driver’s license is revoked. If You don’t have any seizures for an entire year then a person’s license can be returned to them, that is the last time I was interested in driving. That was a law that existed 20+ years ago is the last I heard. Apart from that I would not to take a chance driving and getting into an accident destroying or killing somebody in an accident. I have driven 4 times in my life. There are other ways to around when You don’t have a license. Apart from that don’t focus Your life around not being allowed to drive. There are plenty of other things in life that are more important.

Here in Illinois you cannot get your driver's license back or get them until you are seizure free for a year at least

every state varies so you may want to check with your location then check with your neurologist that is taking care of you. The big issue, until you are cleared by the neurologist your driver's license cannot take place. I was given that exact sentence by mine when I asked him about driving.

I have only had the pleasure of driving 5 times. 3 of those times were driving lessons, the 2 other with a family member. As much as I want to drive, taking the chance of having a a seizure and destroying another person’s life is not worth getting a license to drive. It is very irritating but there are other ways to get to places.

Art Will be tough to not drive when used to it. If seizures are controlled fine but I'm sure you'd realize the danger of even a smalll one when driving. Focus on your own seizires compare to other conditions how you'd be or feel. If just not driving is only restriction for a health prob- not so bad.
