My wife has catalogued all my seizures since getting then in 2014, age 52. Normally it is lights fluttering that causes a seizure. She has NEVER written down that a smell caused one. Even our two kids, now 24 & 28, never wrote down anything about smells. Our oldest wrote ones down ones she saw even back as far as in 2014 (age 19).
