It's been 15+ years since I've been diagnosed.
Never figured out where or exactly what causes my epilepsy.
At this point I have the VNS as well as 3 AEDs which has helped. I have not had a Gran Mal episode in a few years but occasional other episodes.
It's just a matter of figuring out what is the correct treatment, medications and accepting that having epilepsy is an illness that can't be cured just dealing with it.
We all need to remember that no matter what we are people that deserve respect from others and not doubt ourselves because we are "different" because of our
"Problem".
Remember..
Don't doubt yourself.
