Do You Think Your Condition Is Better Currently Than When First Diagnosed And Making Progress?
I hope it for everyone here, My opinion
Yes, it is better. A lot less seizures.
I have only had 1 tc since my stroke in Sept 23. I don't remember when my hubby said I had it in my sleep but he said it was short. I asked my Neurologist why my seizures are better since my stroke and she said some people's are better some are worse. Just be glad yours are better. She said all the brain is connected and something in my stroke changed the connection. She always try to put it so I'll understand it when I ask questions.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member I know the feeling but I set a goal after my surgery. I wanted to see what five years seizure-free felt like. When it happened, I felt no matter where it goes from here, you can't take the best part of my life away from me.
Thanks dave7 but I stay in reality the more positive I try to be the more disappointing life gets for my son and me
I feel I am feeling better now than when I was diagnosed, due to the fact in the late 60s not even doctors understood epilepsy,I was put under a psychiatrist who gave me wrong medication Valium injections with phenytoin to keep me quiet when I had a seizure, that was my whole childhood, till I left school then I slowly improved, but now I put this behind me and look forwards due to what occurred, so now I feel much better today.
