Why Does Sleep Deprivation Causes Seizures?

Lately the last 2 weeks ive only been getting 5 hours of sleep. Last night only 4 hours. Then today i seize!๐Ÿ™„

your brain canโ€™t heal itself without you being asleep it requires any where from 8 to 10 hours of sleep so if you have had several seizures throughout the day your brain needs you to rest and let it repair the damage from your seizures and you need to be taking magnesium to replace what your brain just used up. Magnesium is used by the brain as well as your heart and central nervous system so you need to be taking it at least once a day and after you have a seizure.

Yes, the sleep deprivation is a stressor, can cause adrenaline and hormonal changes which change their frequency, and our brain doesnโ€™t process brainwaves normally when this happens.

Sleep helps the brain function properly, it's kinda like recharging a battery, but in this case it is your brain. Getting enough sleep will help your mental health.
