Where Do Yall Go To Get Calm In Times Of Stress?
We have created quite a bird sanctuary in our backyard and this time of year we get to see lots of baby birds nurtured out of nest, taught to fly, fed by mouth and just generally loved into life. We have eastern bluebirds, goldfinches, and hummingbirds. I love to watch them and listen to their songs. My stress melts away. The problem is that I can’t physically get there all the time. I guess I can recreate the scene and find a quiet place to go and meditate for awhile.

I usually go to out to walk around for exercise, go inside of the pet store near me since I live near a shopping center, listen to classical, jazz, or piano music, cooking, cleaning and organizing things as needed, playing with my siamese cat, watching funny videos on television or YouTube, and sometimes I will go to the nail salon to use the massage chair so I can get a massage. This is usually supposed to help relieve tension, pressure, and stress. Also, I do meditate at times.
Meditation is a practice that I have tried to learn myself on a daily basis.
I myself choose the early hours of the morning such as midnight. My family is asleep and have the office to myself with a cup of coffee. I pray the rosary and from there I play some of my favorite Christmas music and meditate on my previous day and thought of the morrow.
Then I try to go to sleep and wake up refreshed in a few hours.
Have a blessed day
Great idea!
Where I go to calm down when I'm stressed out...
It might sound wacky, but I retreat into my mind 😌 think of your most peaceful place and go there in your mind and stay in that place for at least 20 minutes no distractions everyone and everything comes secondary to your peace!!!
That's my suggestion for what it's worth...
If your birds are what calm you... take some pictures of them!🤗 So then if you're out and feeling "stressed". Take a moment and look at their pictures (it won't be exactly the same), and imagine being with your birds!☺️ It might help calm you... maybe not, but it at least help you until you get home. Hope this helps.
