I am lucky enough to have no body implants, even after nine surgeries I have has so far.

Being that the wire wraps around the vegal nerve on the left side of the throat there's always potential for various negative effects such pain/discomfort in the throat,
Hoarseness etc.
I am sorry that your dr/epilepsy nurse is so from you.

I did experience the jolt in the neck for awhile . After awhile I didn’t notice it anymore.

I never experienced any forms of headaches with the VNS
