Any seizure to me is and can be dangerous in any work place! I have had every kind of seizure and even absence, focal , petit - mal can and is dangerous.

I never told my employers I had epilepsy. Afraid they would not hire me. Workplace very stressful for me. I got tired of losing jobs so I applied for disibility. I got it in 2008. No longer have to deal with stress at work.

For me yes, it's dangerous! Before they started, I was a pharmacy tech. Being responsible for someone's medication while having a seizure, I could've caused many different outcomes for their health. After they staryed, I was an assistant director/ early childcare teacher. I would'nt want myself in that position with my tender age child. I tried working again after being on disability for years, again, pharmacy tech. While counting meds, numerous bottles on counter, I had one! The pharmacist redid every order we counted that day! I have never worked since. Yes, it's dangerous, in my opinion.

For me absence in the workplace is more of an annoyance but I'm in IT & people
can't understand why you're just sitting there, but never dangerous to me. Now if you work machinery or construction, that'd be a different story.

Depends on what one's job is. If you operate heavy machinery, it's just as dangerous as having a grand mal seizure in that same situation. If you're working in an office, working as a cashier, or some such thing, I would think the danger is at a comparatively lesser level. Then you have to take into account how the people around you will respond when it happens, which is a huge factor in itself.
