Concussion, Seizures, Coma, Bells Palsey. Have Auto Immune Brain Encephalopathy. Take Keppra. Terrified I Am Going To Have A Seizure.
Anyone else scared?
I am pretty much continually.
Getting on the right Epilepsy meds has really helped. Happy to talk, more.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , during my teens I felt alone . At that time I thought I was one of the few people with this condition nor. did I know anyone . Around the age I of 15 I met other people like myself in an Epilepsy support group, through the Epilepsy Foundation. That help a lot.
Mine was diagnosed as autoimmune encephalopathy, too, but that MD retired. Havent found anyone to take up the cause, so it is treated now as Epilepsy. Who diagnosed your autoimmune issues? I would travel to find someone. Oh, yes, I get it. I am scared, but go out on a limb.

I’ve had seizures over 30 years and I’ve never met another person, in real life, with seizures
Living with Epilepsy since age of 2 , I’ve learn to cope with my Epilepsy.
When I was in my teens I felt I was the only one with epilepsy. I didn’t know anyone else with it. So my fear at that time was being the only one of the few people with Epilepsy. Everyone I knew didn’t have this condition. It wasn’t until I started going to an Epilepsy Support group , when I realized I wasn’t the only one. It wasn’t rare either.
