What If They Give You Two MRIs, Two EEGs, An Xray As Procedures To Diagnose Your Epilepsy? They Came Up Empty. What's Next?
Do you think they should listen to me?
Every epilepsy specialist is different in how they will proceed as each patient has different needs to take care of. In my situation, the entire body was focused on in full before we moved forward each and every time whether it was to a different medication, a different testing procedure, or even a higher level doctor that would focus on looking at possible level of surgery.
Many questions were asked before moving forward to ensure the move was doing the best thing for myself. After feeling comfortable, the move forward took place for my life to continue with a new phase.

I have been through that. I’ve had a lot of EEG’s, including a surgical one, where I had no seizures so they were a waste. I chose to get the Neurostimulator (RNS) it records my brain activity 24/7 and I send the info in every night.
Ask the Dr. about NES ( Non Epileptic Seizures ) . See if that fits your symptoms
It really depends on what way they suspect things may go. If you are having suspected TC seizures, then they would most likely get you to do a EMU stay where you do a EEG for a number of days while at the same time they try to trigger a seizure.
I had abn when I was as younger then everything showed normal. I had a birth defect but the doctors saw my seizures had many theories but John Hopkins discovered a birth defect deep in brain.
