Gaba meds are a diff type of anxiety seizure control meds. Used as add on with regular AEDs if Dr determines need both. But can cause an increase in mild or partials for some types of epilepsy. Certainly not a cure-all just helps calm CNS like CBD oil does.

It really depends on what your trying to achieve. Some AED meds may block Gaba (not a bad thing) so it just depends on what the AED is. If you mean taking Gaba supplements with AED meds I wouldn't do that unless your told its ok. Otherwise, it can be dangerous.

It depends on what medications they are and how they will react to your body. There is no which works best because everyone has different responses to medications.

I've taken 32 AED medications since the age of one. I looked up the meaning of Gaba meds to discover they are for anxiety? With that being said, my answer to that question is a no as I have had epilepsy all of my life that only AEDs could take care of.
