The medication. That is how I got Osteoporosis and it affected all my bones, even my teeth.

For me it’s my conditions. The medicals I take don’t always prevent me from having a seizure or a spasm, but they do help to calm them down or relieve them in some way.

I believe it is our condition that has more effect. I say that because it has a severe direct effect on the brain with no interruption, since it is the original part of the human body. the Medication is not and has to travel thru our system so it deteriorates its strength because it is not an original part of the human body. Depending on the strength and actions applied by somebodies immune system is why it affects people in different reactions to different meds.

Society now knows how to handle epilepsy better. No more crazy stigmas in modern times or views of our epilepsy. Happy to be able to live not fear seizures by using meds to control them. Why some are anti-meds is weird for any health issue-just dismiss this.

Dave7 that’s might b tough to say because they both go together. When you have epilepsy you take medication and medication has side effects. For me it made things even worse. But if I had to take one or the other, NO CONTEST !
I will take side effects of medication over seizures any day. But, WORST OF ALL!!! is the way we’re looked at and treated. At times, that was worse than the seizures.
