I think both have contributed to some personality/mood changes. That along with PTSD!

Yes, the Meningitis/Encephalitis changed me, then came the seizures, then the meds. Fear of SUDEP, fear of rejection, tired of explaining things and having to excuse myself due to having a bad day. Not all bad, though. I am so glad I can share my experience, strength and hope here. What a great bunch of people.

It really hasn’t affected my personality. But, the experiences I’ve experienced with people and work because of my disability has affected me.

I know I'm not the same. After a big seizure I felt a change. I can not multi task, find words and repeat myself. I feel embarrassed and angry. I do believe my meds add to this.

I don't know about the meds but there was a before and after surgery personality for me and I went from someone who got upset very easily to someone who rarely gets upset.
