I have never experienced any issues with using the herbal shampoo growing up in a household that has used things such as Herbal Essence (big back in the 70's) I remember the large bottle of green shampoo every time I was using it as a teenager. Thought it was kind of cool putting green stuff that lathered in my hair but heck it kept my hair clean and didn't cause any trouble so all was good.
