Does Anyone On This Site Have Anything Positive To Say Bout Epilepsy?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

For newbies to understand from long term epileptics how to deal seizures. Not make it a mental prob again just cause some do. Imagine if we didn't know how to help or understand seizures like years ago. Same for any health issue we know how to help control with our meds. Please look at bright side of epilepsy how well we can all feel not live in fear if we just use our minds

My Neurologist in the 70’s told me I was smart! I laughed! He told me I could be a lawyer, Dr. , you really care for people! We all care for people! I tried my best! I had sz in college, lost my driver’s license but , I ended in several fields of work but stresses were causing more sz’s. He said do a job that has less stress. I became an EEG Tech. I had to try 2 times but I did it. I love helping others. I wish the best for everyone ❣️
