When I go onto the university hospital campus for specialist visit or visits I am on my own free walk through the hospital buildings to the locations needed for the morning meetings. Usually the morning can be just for one meeting but there can be another to follow the first in some cases. I always have my purse for ID along with the iPhone because it is a smart phone that has specific applications on it I use frequently. I do carry my VNS device magnet should that be needed as I like to be safe.

When I am ready to leave the hospital campus I send my husband a text message then he and I will meet outside from the hospital university campus doors I have exited.

dave I have gone by myself to downtown LA. to County USC Medical Center by myself. my wife has confidence in me to handle it. I did for 17 years. i have never had anything taken from me except for when I lost a watch to the EMTs who were taking care of me during a seizure.ericthon3

I have an asst. w/ me 1/2 day. Tell my husband my schedule so he is aware of what I am doing!

I usually tell my mother who I care for where I'm going and when I'll be back. It sounds like I'm a child but it's reassuring for
me letting someone know.

I am single so I have no one to tell my whereabouts to. I am good.
