I Think For People That Aren’t Epileptic Like All Of Us In This Group Have A Hard Time Understanding What We Actually Go Through When A
Seizure hits us. I’m the only one in my family that has to deal with this disease.
That is true. Its hard to understand what they haven't passed through
I totally agree
Exactly we look normal act normal but when it hits no one understand it takes a couple days to get back to normal
Noone will ever be able to understand epilepsy and the myriad of effects in all its forms (physically, psychologically, mentally, socially) that epileptics go through unless they have it. When they spout their opinions and tell me what I'm "actually" experiencing and why my life is the way it is, I must remind myself to remain civil, especially among family but lately that's been hard to do.
Opinions are like assholes everyone has one and they all stink. People can have a understanding of the disorder, have sympathy for you, but no one will ever be able to truly get what you go through and the feel what your body goes through. I became epileptic in 2005 after a TBI I received in a motor vehicle accident.
