? Do You Have Say A Alarm For You Getting Up In The Morning,or Do You Use The Internal One We Have?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am kinda 50/50 on this, I do get to sleep sometimes about 8:30 or 9:00pm usually a few occasions a little later because of my condition and such etc, and sometimes my wife has her alarm for off around 4:20 in the morning, but sometimes I'll get up before her alarm goes off a hr and a half before around 3:00am or a 1)4 to 3 , I don't see any prob with that, but what are your thoughts on this?

When I'm working, I'd wakeup 4;00 - 4:30am w/o fail. But I still set my alarm to 7:00 just in case

My "internal" alarms are permanently screwed up from my years of working night shifts. I'm hoping they gradually "reset." Sometimes I get tired early and sometimes I stay wakeful all night.
I keep alarms set for every medication time however -- 3X / day to make sure I don't miss them whether sleeping or just out to lunch. I have missed the alarm if post ictal or something but other than that they work pretty well.

I stopped using alarms a long time ago. I'm normally up before I take 1st dose of my meds. Take my 2nd and last dose a little before going to bed.

I have two kitty alarms around 4:00am. Sometimes they get pushy and move it up a bit. The only “alarm” alarm I have set is for meds

I have to have an external alarm clack, otherwise I would still be asleep.
