What Is Your Favorite Place To Get A Massage?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Minneapolis, MN

I go to chiropractor on a regular basis due to back and neck injuries acquired years ago from work. I have started going to massages this year for self-care and didn't realize how expensive they were. My usual place is $100 each appointment. I'm researching to see what other options are available since I'm having to go more often. Insurance won't call or email me back to see if any of the appointment costs would be covered. Interested in your thoughts / suggestions.

I usually massage the areas that I can reach , by myself. Then the other areas , I would ask my wife to do.

Have you gone to physical therapy ? They have done wonders for my neck injury and back. Insurance pays for PT though you'll have a copay like going to the doctor. You will have to have a referral from your orthopedic doctor saying it is needed.

Calves, thighs, back and backs of shoulder. Have to much pain in abdomen for any massage there, it that is a thing. I have to get it done with a therapist. My hubs is useless for that kind of thing.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member, I'm Glad You Get A Massage From Your wife. It's Best to Get It From Someone Else. I go To Physical Therapy Weekly.
