I Had A Brain Tumor That Was Removed And Now I Have Seizures. I Would Have Twenty Or More A Month. I Have Burnt Myself Pretty Bad Three Time

The last time I spent over a week in hospital for skin graph. I really have no freedom to do as I please without someone with me. I get upset because I don't want to be checked on all the time. I know they care . I have seizures where I am like in a sleepwalk state and do things I don't know I'm doing and I have grand Mal's. I want my freedom back. I try to stay in good spirits and am always there to give a hand. There are times I want to scream to get this anger out that builds up from not… read more

I feel your pain.
Everyday, every hour, every minute is a struggle just to stay vertical. Then there's the PTSD. The fear, the depression. The why me? The wish it would just end. The tears.

I know. It's been like that for 60 yrs. It makes you feel like your a kid too young to walk by yourself. Every natural function in the body says I'm grown up. But because of our condition we can't go for a walk or have to ask for permissI1ion from your child, when your older and your adult children become your guardians. Demoralizing and embarrassing. I’m the same way. I can’t take a walk by myself because in the past I was found laying on the side of a street having a seizure. The cops and fire department came to my rescue. My parents won’t let me do anything that would be a hazard if I had a seizure. I can’t go on walks, ride a bike, go swimming, use tools, climb heights, mow the grass. I’ve definitely had my share of injuries having seizures. So I can’t do any of the things I like either living with seizures. My parents know where I am 24/7. I used to have a VNS but now have an RNS. I just wish life would change for us.
