Back in my early years from adolescence to my early adulthood there was medications, EEG and MRI . By my Early Twenties they added Brain Mapping in the 1990s with the EEG , to check for qualifications for brain surgery.

The same year ( 2005 ) I started using the VNS was around the same year it was approved by U.S. FDA .

The DBS was originally used for Parkinson’s Disease. I’d was approved in
July, 31 of 97 . By 2018 it got approved for Epilepsy. I got the DBS in 2022. Since the implant , it has been working well and reduced my seizures down .

These are the Technologies I’ve experienced for my Epilepsy

I still have my films showing my AVM from 1989. Now it’s all electronic. Which is great.

You know the funny part about all this is that the study you would do if you were becoming a Dr or a Nurse is done with Books even today so if you get told something and you don't have no access to a computer the information is always available somewhere.

I agree to a level with you Bill. Thankfully not all Dr.s are that way. I've seen a lot through the years. Thankfully the Dr. I saw who referred me to the NIH, Dr.s there and my Dr. now aren't that way. Maybe they can't devote as much time, as long as things had/have been working out for me I'm fine.
