By law in Michigan, you have to be 6 moths-2 years seizure free. Yes, I had to get my Neurologists permission to get my license.

I was told by my neurologist that I had to be seizure free for at least a year before I could get my license, I've been driving since my late 30's.

Why any would want to drive if having seizures is crazy. Danger to
self, any in car or others on road as well. Please don't think it's up to you to decide.

After my first seizure in 1981 I could not drive for a year. For every seizure after that it has only been 6 months. I was living in Virginia for my first seizure and I now live in North Carolina.
