As For Thanksgiving, It's A Traditional Meal With Ham And Turkey And The Sides That Go With It, But What If Go With Something Else Instead?

I'm wondering if that would be dif if you did it, like I was offered say for instance home made chicken soup or whatever that person made or yourself made, I understand that it's a tradition we have in our life with, but does it have to be turkey, I'd be ok with whatever or whomever offered. What are your thoughts on this ❓

The food, which is a Tradition to eat for Thanksgiving, has nothing to do with Epilepsy. Food will not change a condition we have.

When I was a kid, I would go to 2-3 Places for Thanksgiving Giving in a day. Personally I love Turkey & dressing w/ mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, cranberries, string beans, carrots & maybe green bean casserole, along w/ pumpkin pie and maybe others but definitely pumpkin pie.

It's all about family & friends giving thanks to God for the past thanks to God & bad, but definitely we give thanks for all the good in whatever form. The food is secondary, but since I often eat chicken noodle soup & I love the turkey & fixings all the more I'll go for the πŸ¦ƒ.
In the past I've had other, 1 friend had prime rib, and 1 turkey a friend & I had turkey burgers bc we couldn't afford the other. As I said, it’s about family & friends & and giving thanks to God for the past year. "What our forefathers intended it to be"

First of all, we celebrate thanksgiving the day after. That's so we can avoid people leaving to go to the in-laws' house and we can take the grandkids to a Santa Claus parade and eat after that. Since there's little time after the parade before people are ready to eat, we order food (usually pasta) to eat. I heard my wife and daughter-in-law talk about making soups so I'm guessing that's what we're having this year. I don't remember the last time we had turkey. Besides, the next day is my family thanksgiving (always on the Saturday after at my brother's house) and I know my brother is going to have turkey.

Sounds wonderful. Unfortunately about the only other exotic choice for meat, where I live, is bison and venison. I have tried others, but only because they were hunted by friends.
