my absence seizures last 4 minutes. I have no friends or family (all dead) to help me.

I agree with you and your post and the other people's posts here, I suggest getting people's opinions on the question here and from the medical field and your doc, and go from there, but hang in there and try and stay pos, and good luck with your condition and such etc, my opinion

Since you have longer absence seizures, discussing treatment options with your neurologist is recommended. Not having family or friends to help when living with epilepsy can be very challenging.
