@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member That was 52 years ago. They have been researching this all that time probally longer and still doing it. I think thats enough said.

I quit Keppra because of how it made me aggressive. I actually started a low dose of Vimpat and I'm doing quite well with the changes. There has been no consideration of CBD for my needs at this time.

Well put only used along with real AEDs that do control the seizures to help. My Dr. cofirmed cannibis had no effect on the brain 52 years ago but more research to prove this needed.

@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member At the moment CBD and THC only work with three known really bad types of but that's it and even then, most people would most likely be on meds + the CBD and THC. Only a few would only be on CBD/THC and that's it but that's very uncommon.

To give a answer to what the Op is saying it's very unlikely.

There is no way CBD oil or cannabis prodects can control seizures. Recent research has shown that to affect the brain the THC would have to be 10 times amount in weed or oils. Relaxes the nervous sys to avoid depression, stress & eases the. mind. If don't like the high can use gummies or oil with less THC. Article above is too vague ask Dr for best up to date advice.
