Do You Keep A Yearly Log Of Your Seizures Or Guess How Many You Have Had? And What Would That Be?
I do as for my doc appt give a estimate of how many I think I have had, and she doesn't mind and neither do I, as for how many I think that I have had since being diagnosed with my condition of epilepsy I think that is about 4175 and that's a guess, but off my head, I have asked this a little while ago, but what are your thoughts about this ā
I send a message to my doctors via MyChart. My husband keeps a list on a word document.
I have a seizure calandra that I report on . .i show it to my Epileptologist and my DBS researcher.
I was doing this when I was having known seizures and in the process of having testing for it. I've stopped doing it at the moment as I found that not everything, I was picking up turned out to be a seizure and a lot of it turned out to be minor symptom related events and, in the end, because I was so focused on the side issues, I would miss the seizure if one did happen. Going by the eeg tests.
These days I focus more on known auras & aura symptoms that are linked to my diagnoses and try to work out when they happen. When I focus on that its a lot less stressful.
Yes I keep one and update my doctor all the time. Just so my med records match
Yes, I do. Uniquely going back to year 2013.
