Has Anyone Been Diagnosed With Frontal Lobe Seizers?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I lose time, eat and don't remember, verbally agree to things I absolutely would not and make purchases that I do not remember making. Friends say that they talk to me and I don't respond or look right through them. I have a video that was recorded of me and it is scary to see as I do not remember any of it happening. I was put on Levetiracetam ER 2,000mg a day.

Thanks! I really appreciate hearing that I am not alone. It is hard to explain it to people. It ended a relationship, really affected my relationship with my teenage son too. I had a traumatic car accident, and the emergent care only cared that I couldn't feel my right leg. I was on serious pain killers afterwards so anything like these symptoms was attributed to pain killers. Well, until I stopped taking them. I see my neurologist this coming week and I'm not sure if upping my meds or changing my meds would help. My husband, as patient as he is, gets very frustrated with the same symptoms. I really want the seizures to end. Good luck to you too~!

I agree with your post, I am not sure if I myself have that with my condition of epilepsy, I was diagnosed with generalized epilepsy and if that goes with my condition, I do have some of those symptoms you mentioned happen time to time, I forget things and wonder if I did it and people bringing up stuff etc, I am not aware of taking place, I couldn't say, but hang in there and try and stay pos and good health to you, my opinion
