It's great that you have good relationships with both your regular doctor and your replacement. Having doctors who listen to your questions and concerns can be very valuable in managing epilepsy. I listen more to my doc. I write down questions before my appointments. I away have, but now i ask questions I may come across on this site that I never thought of asking before. I record my appointments and listen back a few times jst so it's clear to me. I like my neurologist and go to a neurological hospital, one of the best in Canada. It was founded my Dr. Wilder Penfield. The first doctor to map out the brain. The Montreal procedure.

I’ve had drug resistant epilepsy for over 30 years. If you want your seizures to be monitored you should get a Neurostimulator (RNS). I have one and it records my seizures 24/7. If you’d like to know more about the RNS let me know.
