As far as I know this doesn't help with detecting seizures. It monitors Hart rate and helps other things related to fitness.

The Oura ring has not been clinically tested or approved to detect seizures. However, some people with epilepsy find that data from wearable devices like the Oura ring may help them identify patterns or changes that occur before a seizure. The Oura ring monitors heart rate, body temperature, and activity levels. Sudden changes in these metrics may indicate an oncoming seizure for some people. But it does not directly monitor brain activity like an EEG. Before purchasing the Oura ring to aid seizure detection, consider talking to your neurologist. They can help determine if the metrics it tracks may be useful for you personally in identifying seizure triggers and patterns.
