I had good control of my seizures so I never mentioned epilepsy unless I was asked about it. Since your son's seizures are 11 months apart, it shouldn't be a big deal. I worked for the federal government for 31 years. I eventually had a seizure at work and we had a good understanding of each other and it never looked like I had to worry about being let go.

My very first job I worked for State Farm. I was pretty well under control but didn’t tell him. My second job I worked for a police department and was a cadet. I wanted to be an attorney to find out what police did. I worked 3 days a week. I did not recognize my stress seizures then until taking my statistics class in College. I loss my driver’s license but worked there one year after. I changed my field of work and went into the medical field. I told everyone what my seizures were. I apparently were not aware of all my seizures and my parents didn’t either! I would have him speak to his physician and get suggestions or letter. I have always worked unless my seizures were out of control. I wish the best of luck😊

Give his boss a little time to learn your son’s seizures. When I first got a job my bosses would make me go home every time I had a seizure. I didn’t like that because I never even know when I have a seizure. Eventually my bosses learned that I’m the same person after I have a seizure. Now they just sit me down in a chair and when I’m back aware from the seizure I’m back to work. So if your son’s boss isn’t comfortable at first it might just take a little time to adapt.

If it were me me I would tell them every thing. I wouldn't want to be on a job, have a seizure, and no one knew what was happening. only my opinion.
