What Is The Maximum Amount Of Keppra A Person Can Take A Day
It is different to everyone. I believe it has to do with our weight, on how high we can take in doses with the AED meds.
When I first asked about this people were say 4000 but now a lot of people are saying as high as 6000. I'm yet to come across a set amount to be honest. It really depends on the person.
The maximum recommended daily dose of Keppra (levetiracetam) is 3,000 mg per day for adults. However, some people may require higher doses up to 4,000 mg per day under medical supervision. It's important to take Keppra exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not increase or decrease your dose without first consulting your Show Full Answer
For me, I was up to 1500 mg twice a day. This was when they added other medications. That is the last medicine that I stayed on post-surgery. At year ten, I am down to half that amount.
I agree with you and your post and the other people's posts here, it's dif per person, I couldn't say, but check with your doc about that? My opinion
