Has Your Brain (most Likely Because Of Epilepsy) Lied To You?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Lakeville, MA

And recently I have learned that my brain also creates false memories as well. And it might even be creating physical pain or suddenly (I am currently in a seizure-free state). Has this happened to you without a seizure too?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member

Not me, but I had an uncle who believed he was a soldier in the Civil War, would that count

I've Been Told By My Friend And Past Care Assistant I'm To Emotional. Do Other Guys Get This? Or Anyone Else For That Matter?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Fallon, NV

She tells me I am the most emotional man she has ever known. But I attribute it to my condition. I don't recall being like this until six years ago.

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member

That doesn't happen to me, but it's different for everybody. I get angry easily (might be keppra rage, not sure), but that's only because things never go my way, no matter how hard I try.
