Quiting Marijuana.....results, And Withdrawals
I have been a daily marijuana user for over 20 plus years of my life, I have been trying to quit since January with no luck. Has anyone else used for a long time, quit, and then seizure issues due to it? I'm scared that quitting cold turkey will mess with my epilepsy. Has anyone else been through this? And what was your results?
Xcopri And Anxiety.
Hey guys, does anyone who is on this medicine notice xcopri helps with anxiety too? I was on epidiolex and vimpat before i got pregnant. I recently gave birth and now i am still on vimpat but completely off of epidiolex because they want to see how xcopri works for me. Now i notice i have bad anxiety everyday, and that is one of the triggers for seizures. I am on 200 mg vimpat 2 times a day I wonder if that is making my anxiety worse wow an a half mg of Xanax
Has Gaining/losing Weight Had Any Impact On Your Seizures?
My neuro told me that carrying extra 50# didn’t directly affect my seizures (focal impaired), but losing weight still good idea to help with sleep, blood pressure, etc.
Just read this… looks like more direct correlation…. AEDs cause weight gain. In turn, weight gain increases inflammation, changes hormones/chemicals, can increase seizures.

I lost alot of taste for food, I eat terrible. I drink alot of coffee. I can lose 8# in one week, only to get it back the next. Over and over again.

You would think after 10 years, I would learn that I am not the same as I was… pushing doesn’t make me stronger anymore. Anybody deal with this? How do you stop??

First Seizure Experience
I read an article on here recently about how some experiences can be like PTSD. I used to only have my seizures at night, and then after I had my first one in public, it gave me a constant fear of having more. I often avoid social interactions because of it, and using tools like meditation, I have improved over the years, but the fear is not entirely gone.
