Randy, I remember having a seizure in an office and i knew something wasnt right. Then my name was called and my mom was with with my daughter who was 2 or 3. I slowly felt it creeping up my legs, then my whole body shook. When it was over, i just wanted to go home but the paramedics insited i go to the hospital. I was on the stretcher but put my head down, embassed to look at everyone in that other room. I just wanted to get outta there.

I was talking with a coworker and had a deja vu moment. She was just a talking, to this day I have no idea what she was talking about.
I didn't know at the time it was epilepsy. And the doctors kept telling me it was associated with my depression.
It took me 10 yrs before I was diagnosed.

At the beginning when I seizured in public, yes it would be embarrassing. The thing with me is I loved being outdoors anywhere during the Spring, Summer and part of Fall. Seizuring outside and in public so often . I got use to it to my seizures in public , I would just get back up on my feet , wipe myself off, ignore everyone staring at me and go about my business.

When I had my first sezuire it was a day before Halloween we where watching movies next thing I know I woke up in a hospital 4 days had gone by and my family at first thought I was playing a joke on them but once they saw I was going into convulsions time to call 911
