Anyone Ever Hve An Out Of Body Experience
Sounds like Alice in Wonderland a window into another world. It may seem like a rather pleasant feeling at first or OBE then gets more intense- a full seizure. Joan D'Arc and other Saints "visions" now known to be seizures. The crazy weird feeling is like a dream while awake. Subconscious steps in to keep vital body functions going but connection tween brain halves which allows consciousisness is interrupted so mind is on hold during amy seizure. Before we knew nuff bout the brain function wasn't till 1920s so thought to be from the mind. Glad we know for sure bout epilepsy and how to help seizures before they get out of control.
Randy Lucky you don't have the crazy spooky ones. Fully aware but unable to move, speak, or think. Emotions so riled by the rush of hormones are just overwhelming. Must remind self will pass then wait to be able to speak and emotions to settle after. Best part of any seizure is the end.
I had them, with fear, suffocation, epigastric rising, disordered thoughts, every night, 3 times. The out of body experiences were very frightening. So very grateful for antiseizure medicine.
@A MyEpilepsyTeam Member , I’ve heard many stories of people experiencing OBE’s . Some people experienced OBE’s during a Near Death Experience in the hospital. Then there are people who practice doing the OBE .
I always thought , it would be a cool experience, traveling outside my body.
I’ve heard of it happening, but never experienced it.
