What Challenges Have You Overcome Today?

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Saint Louis, MO

I got my Keppra ordered! No fun, as I had no Keppra refills due to my doctor leaving. I notified my new doctor’s office, my pharmacy and agreed to a March doctor’s appointment with whomever my new doctor is. What kind of doctor? I don’t know. The last doctor I trusted was Dr. White, a neurologist, in 1973. Picking up Keppra today YAY.

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member

Well, best wishes with the new doctor.

And do you feel that you are cursed, challenged or simply frustrated by life with all of the seizures and/or all of the side effects of medications, surgeries, implants, etc.? Do you feel that others have ceased judging you as an individual but rather only see you as an Epileptic -- thus in some way abnormal?
