Saint Peters, MO

I no longer have these, but it used to be a common occurrence. I know there are many, many types of seizures but have never found one that fits what used to happen to me. Can anyone tell me what this is??

* It lasted an entire day. From the time I woke up until I went to bed at night. Usually about 13-16 hours. Was always fine the next day
* I was always conscious.
* Never extra tired.
* No twitches. No pain or even physical discomfort of any kind.
* Most people didn't know anything… read more

I wonder if it might be medication related? You don’t mention whether or not you are on any medication, so a review could be needed.

Sleep And Panicking

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Newcastle upon Tyne, UK

Does anyone find they sometimes can't sleep properly at night then they start panicking which leads to a seizure? I'm struggling to sleep at night and worried it's going to start triggering seizures. It's only since my doctor has changed my medication. Sometimes my brain won't shut down!

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member

Same thing dr did say I can have a beer as long as I don't drink it during medication time or near medication time

Cameron Boyce Dies At 20 Due To A Seizure.

A MyEpilepsyTeam Member asked a question 💭
Ambrose, GA

I shared an article that I read on the news, on Facebook. Only 1 person shared it. I don't know if Cameron died of SUDEP or not but his family did say he had a seizure in his sleep. It makes me SO mad that NO ONE else shared this. Its like it doesn't matter. Am i just being biased? I feel like it should be shared. Not just because he is on TV, but to bring awareness to the devastation that seizures can cause. Not just death, but life disruption and anxiety and a whole list of things.
