They've put me on citalopram which are making me feel so sick and sleepy, I know it's the keppra that's making me feel so rubbish but doctor is refusing to change as it is controlling the seizures quite well

Most of the epilepsy medications have side effects one of them being depression. They tried to but her on zoloft but she didn't like it. She took klonipin for a while for the anxiety but it made her wasted. She weighs about 105 lbs. I think the dosage was too high.

Last week after having 4 seizures in a row I have been having terrible anxiety, worse than average and I can't sleep at night despite being tired my mind will not stop going just stressing itself out. I need to control the anxiety before it controls me, but I'm worried to bring it up to my DR b/cuz I don't just want to be drugged up more.

I have epilepsy and anxiety -- honestly starting Celexa was a lifesaver for me. Whatever your experiencing I think it would be good to see someone who can help you consider your treatment options.

I totally agree! Meditation helps with so many things. Exercise also is a great outlet.
